EASIGEN-DS attended the BIO-Europe event 2025

From 3–5 November, the EASIGEN-DS team joined the BIO-Europe 2025, Europe’s annual largest biopharma partnering conference, held this year in Vienna, Austria.

Organized by EBD Group and powered by partneringONE®, BIO-Europe serves as a dynamic forum where life-science actors, bioindustry leaders and investors come together to seek collaboration and to build innovation across Europe.  

A key objective for the EASIGEN-DS project is to design the future infrastructure EASIGEN in a way that addresses the gaps and meets the needs in genomics technologies and services of both the academic community as well as the bioindustry. To achieve this goal, the Consortium partners developed a targeted questionnaire to collect insights directly from these two communities. BIO-Europe 2025 provided the first major opportunity to engage with bioindustry representatives, inviting them to share their companies’ requirements on genomics.  

Beyond the networking opportunities, BIO-Europe also featured inspiring talks and round tables showcasing the latest updates on life sciences and innovation. The transformative role of omics technologies was mentioned as key tools to discover novel biomarkers and to supporting the validation of new drug targets, indicating their power to shape the future of medicine and impact multiple sectors.

EASIGEN-DS presence at BIO-Europe marked an important milestone in strengthening the connections with the bioindustry sector and ensuring that the project’s infrastructure reflects real-world needs.
