EASIGEN-DS participates in European Research and Innovation days 2025

On the 16 and 17 September the EASIGEN-DS team participated in the sixth edition of the European Research and Innovation Days that took place in Brussels, Belgium. This flagship event, organised annually by the European Commission, brings together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and citizens to engage in discussions and roundtables focused on shaping the future of research and innovation across Europe.

Over the course of two days, the EASIGEN-DS team explored a wide range of interesting topics including the strategic direction of Horizon Europe during the implementation dialogues with Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva, the role of artificial intelligence in scientific advancement, the importance of research infrastructures in scaling up innovation, and the European Research Area Acts, among many other fruitful subjects that were also addressed during the sessions.

The event served as a dynamic platform for dialogue on how Europe can strengthen its position in research and innovation. It highlighted the importance of inclusive and forward-thinking strategies to ensure that science and innovation continue to serve societal needs and economic growth across the EU.
