The EASIGEN-DS Consortium is pleased to invite you to the Mini-Symposium: Advanced Genomics in Research and Healthcare, taking place on Thursday 26 March 2026 at Ruđer Bošković Institute.
This event is designed for the research community and will showcase recent advances in genomics technologies and their applications in biomedical research and clinical practice.
Leading experts from European genomics centres will present cutting-edge developments in genomic mapping within large-scale initiatives, the implementation of HiFi long-read whole-genome sequencing for comprehensive genetic characterisation, and the expanding role of cell-free DNA in prenatal screening and cancer diagnostics. The programme will provide both technological insights and practical perspectives on how advanced genomics is reshaping research and healthcare.
The mini-symposium aims to foster knowledge exchange, strengthen collaboration across institutions, and support researchers interested in integrating advanced genomics approaches into their scientific and clinical workflows. The event will also offer opportunities for discussion and networking with peers and experts in the field.
