EASIGEN-DS presented at the 5th GenomePT Symposium
On 1 July 2025, the EASIGEN-DS project was presented at the 5th GenomePT Symposium in Lisbon, Portugal. GenomePT is Portugal’s distributed genomics research infrastructure, providing coordinated access to sequencing technologies, advanced bioinformatics resources, and specialised expertise across academic, clinical, environmental, and biotechnology fields. As part of the Portuguese Roadmap of Research Infrastructures, it brings together national genomics platforms to support research excellence, innovation, and capacity developmen
The symposium brought together researchers, healthcare professionals, industry partners and infrastructure stakeholders to discuss the latest developments and challenges in genomics. During the afternoon plenary session on European Genomics Infrastructures, Ivo Gut, Director of CNAG and Coordinator of the EASIGEN-DS project, presented the project's vision and ongoing work towards building a future European Research Infrastructure for genomics.
This event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with the genomics community, exchange knowledge, and increase the visibility of EASIGEN-DS and explore potential synergies and collaborations towards a common goal.
