The presence of the EASIGEN-DS project in this event marked an important step forward in raising awareness about the project, its mission and the collaborative efforts driving its progress.
The consortium contributed in several/different ways:
Project leaflet: Attendees could visit CNAG’s booth, project coordinator, to pick up a dedicated EASIGEN-DS leaflet offering a visual explanation of the project and its goal.
ePoster: in the exhibition hall an ePoster featuring the project was exposed, highlighting the project aims, work packaged and link to previous initiatives involving consortium partners.
Expert talk: The participation of Emmanuelle Rial-Sebbag, Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, speaking on the topic “Expanding Data Sources – Technical, Ethical and Legal Considerations”. Her talk empathised the importance of ethical and legal aspects of genomic data sharing, a central area of work in the EASIGEN-DS project.
EASIGEN-DS's presence represented a key opportunity to engage with leading experts and to position EASIGEN-DS within the broader landscape of European research on human genetics.
