EASIGEN‑DS consortium holds successful mid-term meeting
On March 26-27, 2026, the EASIGEN-DS consortium reached a key milestone with the successful completion of its mid‑term meeting, held in person at the Ruđer Bošković Institute partner's facilities in Zagreb, Croatia.
Marking the halfway point of the project, the meeting brought together partners for two intensive half-days of focused discussions across work packages, reviewing progress, exchanging insights and aligned on the next steps to ensure continued advancement of the project's objectives, deliverables and goals. During this meeting, the consortium was pleased to welcome Luiza Handschuh from the Genomics for Poland initiative as a guest participant, as well as Iason Dougenis from the European Commission, that shared valuable insights into the European Strategy on research and technology infrastructures.
The mid‑term meeting provided an opportunity not only to reflect on the achievements reached to date, but also to identify key topics requiring deeper discussion and to ensure that the consortium remains aligned as it moves forward with a shared strategic direction for the second half of the project.
